Adam Trehan

Adam Trahan (1909–1994) was a Cajun accordionist, fiddler, and vocalist from Cow Island, Louisiana, who recorded two records with Columbia Records on 14 December 1928 in New Orleans. He was accompanied by guitarist Edney Broussard (of Milton) on the recordings. Despite demand, Trahan did not continue his music career at the time and sold his accordion. He didn't return to playing music until in the early to mid-1930s, continuing until the late 1940s. He had various jobs during his life, and together with his sons, he owned and operated a farm supply and feed store in Kaplan from 1957 until 1986.
