    Born 1965. Wan Aishah binti Wan Ariffin (better known as Aishah) is a singer from Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Based in New Zealand in the mid 1980s and early 1990s, she fronted NZ pop band Fan Club. Their debut album, Sensation, was successful on the international stage and their song 'Don't Let Me Fall Alone' hit Top 40 playlists on major American radio stations in 1990. After Fan Club, Aishah returned to Malaysia as a solo artist and was appointed one of the country's pop legends with a row of hit songs and best-selling albums. In 2011, she entered politics with PAS and competed for the parliamentary seat in Jempol in the Malaysian General Election 2013.
