About

Canadian rockabilly drummer from Edmonton, Alberta. A member of The Rock-A-Tunes until he and the rest of band left Hank Smith to join The Fendermen. After a few years with them, he returned to Edmonton, playing with a few local bands until joining The Famous Last Words in 1964. When they disbanded in 1967 he joined popular Western Canadian show band The Natural Gas until 1970.

In 1970 he went to The Banff School of Fine Arts to study photography, playing in Mary Saxton's The Elastic Band for three years to pay his way through school. After graduating in 1973 he was hired as a cameraman by CFRN-TV in Edmonton, working there for 25 years until retiring in 1998.
