Died June 2, 1961 in Newport Beach, California, USA.
He was a popular personality on several radio networks from 1928 to 1947. He had a popular radio program with his brother Cal Pearce called ""Happy Go Lucky Hour" (sometimes titled "Al Pearce and His Gang") on KFRC in San Francisco beginning in 1928. The show continued on for twelve years, switching networks numerous times. Al was also part of the Pearce Brothers with Cal who recorded four sides on Columbia in 1929.
