Singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. She was student at the undefined in Melbourne and graduated in the year 2010 at the St Kilda Road Music School.

Being member of the Wesley College Big Band, its 7 musicians decided to found an own band after graduation. This band was called Animaux with Lahey fronting the band.
In 2017, Alex Lahey published her first solo work "I love you like a brother" as a start for her further solo career.
