Alexander Patton

An R&B singer from Long Beach, California who started his career signing for Effie Smith’s undefined label. Her son Fred Smith worked with Alex on his single Make The Best of What You Got (1965).
Local record producer James McEachin, prior to him becoming a Hollywood actor, was assigned to a session at Capitol records. Three songs were cut, No More Dreams, A ‘Lil Lovin Sometimes and True Love.
