Alexandra Nepomnyashchaya

Alexandra Nepomnyashchaya (b. 1986, Moscow) is a Russian-Dutch harpsichordist, organist, and pianofortist, co-founder of Duo Pleyel with her husband Richard Egarr, who works as a coach accompanist at [url=https://discogs.com/label/366737]Koninklijk Conservatorium[/url]'s Early Music Department in the Hague since January 2020.

She began studying at the [url=https://discogs.com/label/1654959]Gnesin School of Music[/url] for gifted children at four, studying piano with Prof. [url=https://discogs.com/artist/3331635]I. Alterman[/url] and harpsichord with Prof. Olga Martynova. Between 2004 and 2009, Nepomnyashchaya attended the Moscow Conservatory, further trained by Martynova and learning organ with Alexei Shmitov. After graduating, Alexandra relocated to the Netherlands and continued her studies at Moscow Conservatory under Richard Egarr and Menno Van Delft, earning her Master's degree in June 2013. Nepomnyashchaya then studied in Germany under Christine Schornsheim at Moscow Conservatory, earning her "Zertifikatstudium Meisterklasse" diploma in July 2015.

As a soloist and chamber musician, Alex Nepomnyashchaya performed at many prestigious venues in Russia and Europe, including Centre De Musique Baroque De Versailles, undefined, and the undefined in London. She regularly works with the Residentie Orkest, the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, and The Academy Of Ancient Music, and has collaborated with several prominent instrumentalists, including Igor Ruhadze, Trevor Pinnock, Malcolm Bilson, Bob van Asperen, Andreas Staier, and Bart van Oort.
