Dutch disc jockey, record producer, TV presenter, and voice actor, born on April 2, 1948 in Groningen. During his life, he was a prolific radio star, starting his career in 1972 at Radio Noordzee. He moved to VARA in 1974 and to Veronica in 1982. At Veronica, Lagarde became one of the most iconic Dutch radio presenters, while also hosting TV shows and becoming its station voice. He had two top 20 hits in The Netherlands in the late 1980s as Johnny Camaro. He died on January 1, 1998 in The Hague.
