Born January 2, 1915 in New York City, New York.
Died October 31, 1993 in Hollywood, California.
He was a member of the 1938 satirical troupe,"The Revuers," whose company included Adolph Green, Betty Comden, Judy Holiday, and, on occasion, Leonard Bernstein on piano.
He later became a frequently used character actor in Hollywood, first beginning with the Revuers in the movie Greenwich Village in 1944 and his last appearances nearly 50 years later on The Ben Stiller Show in 1992.
