Ambleside are leading the charge of melodic hardcore in the Adelaide scene. After releasing their self produced debut ep ‘New Tide’, the band were lavished with praise from Australian heavy acts. Saviour vocalist Bryant Best described Ambleside’s efforts as “heartfelt heavy music with driving vocals … a nice blend of light and shade” with Belle Haven’s David Vernon also agreeing “if it were any more complex, it could lose what is so special about it.” The band have backed up this praise by tirelessly notching up 6 Australian east coast tours within 2 years supporting an array of well-known international and local acts. Throughout their extensive touring experience – 100+ shows and more on the way - Ambleside have been successful in achieving coveted opening and main supports for acts such as: Silverstein (CAN), Counterparts (CAN), Forever Came Calling (US), Worthwhile (US), Heights (UK), More Than Life (UK), In Hearts Wake, Hellions, SAVIOUR, Break Even and Trophy Eyes.

Achieving their goals through a strong DIY ethic and network of friends, Ambleside are one of Australia’s hardest working local bands. With a severe case of wanderlust, Ambleside are pursuing the sounds and experiences that make up a large part of their lives; touring with friends, and providing a platform of songs and values for people to connect and engage with.
