André Farry

Founder of one of the most legendary French library labels Editions Montparnasse 2000. Before his musical career he owned clubs, cabarets and restaurants in Paris. The label finally got founded in 1968. They started with Louis Delacour as A&R and label manager, who later founded another classic library label (Editions Montparnasse 2000). Like Montparnasse 2000 premium musician Janko Nilovic said, André Farry was running the label more as a financial adventure than really being a fan of the music. As boss of the business, he tried to keep the work uncomplicated and allowed musicians to do whatever they wanted.
