Arakain

Czech heavy metal band formed 1982 in Prague (former Czechoslovakia), whose founders were singer Aleš Brichta, guitarist Jiří Urban and drummer [a=Miroslav Nedvěd]. Since its inception, it has firmly stood in the line of strong heavy metal straightforward music with mostly its own work, which has appealed to a large number of fans from the beginning. It became a sought-after concert group, which also played songs from foreign metal legends and current tops. In 2002, Brichta decided to leave the group on the 20th anniversary. In the current line-up of Arakain, only Jiří Urban remained of the original members.
