French band founded in 1985 in Courbevoie by Thierry Sobezyk (bass, vocals) and Philippe Planchon (guitar, vocals), later joined by Pascale Macé (keyboards), Asylum Party was part of the so-called Touching Pop movement together with Mary Goes Round and Little Nemo. They disbanded in 1991.
