Attomica is a Brazilian thrash metal band from São José dos Campos, which was founded in 1985, broke up in 1994 and since 2002 is active again. In the meantime, the group called itself Atomica.
The band was founded in October 1985 by guitarist João Paulo Francis and drummer Mario Sanefuji. A short time later the singer Laerte Perr and the brothers Pyda Rod (electric guitar) and Andre Rod (bass) were joined and completed the band.
