Producer, graphic artist and film maker. Former husband of Shirley Collins for whom he produced several albums and designed the artwork. He introduced her to Davy Graham which led to the ground breaking album Folk Roots, New Routes.
Founded the label Streetsong which released Black Birds of Brittany by Bert Jansch. Used the moniker John the Angel Fish for poetry recitals in New York.
