About

Aven was founded by Inge Nilsen, Vidar Nord, and Ida Helen Fjeld last year, after Inge and Ida had been working on a song they believed could become something. They got in contact with Vidar Nord, one of Norway´s most promising producers. He liked it so much, they immediately started to work on more songs. Inge aka DJ Lemon aka DJ Aven, has been one of Norway´s leading DJs and promotors for many years. With his weekly radio show in Norway together with DJ Stigma and Lars Holthe (both on Black Hole), he has been one of the pioneers in the house scene in Norway, since he ocused 100% on trance and house in 1991. His annual concept Hyperstate gathered 8000 people every year, and was Scandinavia´s biggest event of its kind. It used to go out to more than 80 countries through the European broadcast union, and hosted bands like Daft Punk, Prodigy to DJs like Fatboy Slim, Ferry Corsten, Tiësto, and Jeff Mills.

In 2002 he decided it was time to jump over the fence and learn how to make music, instead of playing other people´s music. Time to take one step forward. The result is a fresh breath of summer dream house, and pure pop that will probably be on the clubs, radio, and dancefloors long after the summer has gone. The first single was picked up by Ferry Corsten last year, and was signed to Purple Eye as a result. Since then, Aven have been working on a full album that contains variations from beautiful ballads, summer dream house to pure pop songs. This is definatly one of the acts and DJs to look out for. Lemon is also involved in a deeper project likely to turn up later this year.

The first single; "All I wanna do" comes with a rocking Ferry Corsten remix, the original mix, and a beautiful Planet Nord chill mix.. With Ida Helen´s beautiful vocals, influences from Chicane, Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, and 80´s pop songs are easy to spot, and easy to like....
