Babs Ryan Merritt

American vocalist, pianist, and songwriter.
She was married to [a=Charlie Ryan (3)] prior to marrying jockey Bobby Merritt in 1935. In 1954, she married Arthur Misicka.

She was a popular radio vocalist before working for Johnstone-Montei publishing and was the composer of the catchy "Tennessee", which she sang with Blue Barron. She became a radio disc jockey in 1950 on WFIL in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
