About

American hard rock trio formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in August 1969, by 16-year-olds Frankie Gilcken and Frank Ferrara; Tony Diorio joined after answering an ad in a local newspaper looking for a drummer. They broke up in 1974, after releasing three albums for Capitol Records, and reunited in 1996 after a 25-year hiatus.
