Barbara Sobolewska

Polish singer, the author the lyrics of songs of the band Mikroklimat, as well as the music composer of several songs. After completing her studies in English at the Institute of Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw, she began her pedagogical activity, which she continues to do today. In parallel, however, there was always she sing. Basia sang classical music in the chamber band "Ars Antiqua" and "Cantus Firmus", and entertainment music, mainly during a couple of years in Norway, where she performed with her husband Stanisław Szczyciński, and where after winning the competition in Hoyanger she made recordings for Norwegian Radio. The Norwegian chapter was crowned with the recording of the album "The White Hotel" with songs written during a stay in Balestrand in the west of Norway.
