    Battista Acquaviva is a Corsican singer and the daughter of the Corsican cultural actor Nando Acquaviva, musician and musicologist. She has a mezzo soprano and coloratura range, her voice can go up to three octaves and she is a specialist in the micro intervals of traditional Corsican music. She plays the cetera, a Corsican variant of the cistre, a musical instrument with plucked strings.

    She is also the cousin of Jean-Claude Acquaviva, leader of the group A Filetta.
