Besatt was formed in 1991 in Bytom, Silesia, Poland by Beldaroh and Weronis. After some line-up changes Fulmineus joined in 1994 and in 1996 first demo "Czarci Majestat" was recorded. Creon joined them on guitar in 1997 and the same year debut album "In Nomine Satanas" was released. After the recording Weronis left the band and as a trio they recorded "Hail Lucifer" in 1999.
"Hellstorm" was registered in 2001 and after that Creon and Fulmineus both left the band.
Agonus joined Beldaroh and with the help of session drummer from Katharsis "Korzenie Zła" was recorded at Oho Studio.
Fulmineus re-joined the band eventually in 2003 and three another albums were released under the banner of Undercover Records.
