Since she began to be successful in the 1970s, Beth has become one of the greatest samba performers, helping to reveal names such as Luiz Carlos da Vila, Jorge Aragão, Zeca Pagodinho, Almir Guineto, group Fundo de Quintal, Arlindo Cruz, and Quinteto in White and Black. Beth Carvalho was born in Rio de Janeiro, on May 5, 1946, and passed away on April 30, 2019.
