    Bill Langstroth

    Canadian musician, singer, banjoist, and photographer who was known for being the co-host of CBC television show Singalong Jubilee from 1961 to 1970. He was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame in 2011.

    Died: 8 May 2013, Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.

    Langstroth attended Mount Allison University early 1950s, joined CBC Halifax in 1954. Langstroth produced Don Messer's Jubilee and hosted Singalong Jubilee from its pilot show until 1970 when he moved to Toronto with Anne Murray and married her in December 1975. They had two children including Dawn Langstroth, and divorced in 1998. Bill worked on a variety of film and TV projects until 1998. He remarried and lived in Malagash, Nova Scotia with his wife Fran until they relocated to Sackville, New Brunswick in 2013.
