Underground Muzik + Biotechnology, the odd formula that explains the birth of Bioground, aiming to spread the music of Portuguese producer Luis Novo as far as he possibly can. Growing up under the influence of the 80's elektro pop sound, Luis soon began to feel attracted by the work of pioneers like Vangelis, Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre and CJ Bolland to name a few. Recently his admiration goes further to producers such as J. Frank Cochois, Jay Denes, Sven Van Hees or Vladislav Delay. Through the name Bioground Luis Novo seeks to release his wide range of skills, never restricted to a certain style of sound, feeling capable of delivering loungy atmospheric stuff, silky deep vocal tunes or even uplifting groovy tracks.
