'Blind Ambitions formed in Margate in 2010 and the release of Breaking Free marks an exciting time in the emergence of this talented 5-piece, whose combination of heavy and melodic hardcore has created an album not to be overlooked. They’re a band, unconcerned with fitting within a mould and thus they dedicate huge amounts of time to crafting a multi-influenced sound. It’s an effort which is reciprocated by appreciative crowds, as they build an ever growing and loyal fan base. In doing so they have shared stages with peers, While She Sleeps, Heart In Hand, It Prevails and Hundredth. Breaking Free is an album which at the same time as dealing with social issues and disappointment, maintains a positive drive, urging an open mind and trying to discourage materialism and redirect attention to the things that matter. Reinforcements are introduced in the shape of Karl Schubach (Misery Signals) on album track, ‘Mesmerised and Desensitized’. Consider this a refreshing shake-up of the genre.' - Press release 2012
