BLOND grew out of the Swedish pop group Tages, which disbanded in 1968.
When Tommy Blom left Tages in 1968, remaining band members Göran Lagerberg, Danne Larsson, Anders Töpel, Lasse Svensson continued as Blond. This coincided with launching their career outside Sweden.
In 2007, they reformed with a slightly changed line-up as Göran Lagerberg Band.
