Canadian keyboardist, singer and songwriter from Toronto, Ontario. A mainstay of the Toronto R&B scene for over three decades. In 1959 his band Bobby Dean & The Gems became the first house band at Club Bluenote, Toronto, soon switching to house band at Zanzibar Tavern. In the late 1960s and early 1970s he led The Naturals, which included his cousin, drummer Billy Blackburn.
