Breeder was a production duo of [a113477] and [a44552]. They met through a mutual friend and swiftly headed into the studio to remix one of Simon's compositions with [a75741], "Make It Funky," which they'd recorded as [a16458]. They ended up making a brand new track, which was "The Chain," and the duo's first single. Along with their second single "Twilo Thunder," the duo had commercial success, having first appeared on [m37695] compilation. Breeder split in 2001.
