Began writing and collaborating at 17 when he joined a band called The Tickets. He's a big John Lennon fan as you can tell. Played the coolest bars and nightclubs in Orange County throughout the 80's and 90's, The tickets were known at that time as one of Orange Countys finest bands. LA radio station KLOS touted The Tickets as "best unsigned band" back in the 90's. The Tickets still play at the O.C. Fair once a year and work together writing via Pro Tools Studio software.
