Alberta-born Canadian country and rockabilly fiddler, guitarist, singer and songwriter. Lived in British Columbia, where he got his start as a member of Evan Kemp's Trail Riders.
Met Hank Smith while they were both travelling with Joe Kozak's Western Canadian Hayride Show. Together they founded Rock-A-Tune Records ca. 1958. Left Rock-A-Tunes to join Phil Humphrey as one of The Fendermen.
