Cage9 (formerly known as Cage) is a Panamanian/American alternative rock band, formed in Panama City in 1993. The group was founded by Evan Rodaniche (guitar/vocals) and is currently based out of Los Angeles, CA. The band's song "My Doppelgänger (Doble Opuesto)" was released in English as well as Spanish and received full rotation on MTV Latino. In 1998, the band name was changed to Cage9. Some notable bands that Cage9 has shared the stage with are Ozzy Osbourne, Queensrÿche, Candlebox, Seether, Dokken, Quiet Riot, Lynch Mob, Boy Hits Car and Smile Empty Soul. Cage9 also recorded a version of the theme song to The Dukes of Hazzard which was used in the trailer for the 2005 movie.
