Carol Burnett

Carol Burnett (born April 23, 1933, San Antonio, Texas, USA) is an American actress, comedian, singer, and writer. She was married to Joe Hamilton from 1963 to 1984 (divorced). Mother of Carrie Hamilton and Erin Hamilton. She did part time work as a cover model for these Steno-Disc education LP's in the early 1950's for Keane Records. Carol Burnett's family moved to California (from San Antonio, Texas) and she attended Hollywood High School and eventually studied theater and musical comedy at UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) studying theater arts and English, as an aspiring playwright, Burnett left school early and made her way to New York City in 1954 with her boyfriend, Don Saroyan, in hopes of breaking into acting. She was doing odd jobs etc. some light productions, stage etc. before hitting it big in 1959.
