Casee Wilson

Casee Wilson is a singer-songwriter based in York. She is influenced by a wide range of music from 80's pop, synth pop and electronica through to adult contemporary artists like Tori Amos and Florence and the Machine and couldn't tell you a single genre of music that has influenced her the most - her parents dragged her up kicking and screaming to a soundtrack of The Who, The Kinks, and Kate Bush among others. Consequently, although most of her music is acoustic piano and vocal fare, she can occasionally be found writing synth pop and electronica under the moniker Blue Electric Angel.

Casee is a self taught vocalist and pianist who self-released her third album, ‘Here At A Distance’, on 30th October 2015 and is currently hard at work on new material. She has been played on BBC York's breakfast show, thrice on BBC York Introducing, and recently guested for the third time on The Fox's Den show on Vixen 101 FM. She has had a song selected for the soundtrack of short film ("Far Out") which went on to be shown at the Vancouver Film Festival. She can be found playing live around York and the surrounding areas and when she is not gigging or writing she enjoys aikido and chocolate.
