Channel Light Vessel are Bill Nelson, Roger Eno, [a=Laaraji] and Kate St. John. Bill Nelson (formerly of Be Bop Deluxe) had worked with Roger Eno and ex-[a=Dream Academy] member Kate St. John as producer for their duo album The Familiar. The three later formed Channel Light Vessel with percussionist Laraaji and cellist Mayumi Tachibana, and released the 1994 album Automatic.
