Blues singer and guitarist, born September 3, 1925, in Moorhead, Mississippi, died South Bend, Indiana, September 20, 1989.
In the company of harmonica player Houston Boines and Ike Turner on piano, Booker was recorded by Modern in Greenville, Mississippi, in 1952. He also recorded two titles in Memphis in 1953 (released much later). A sole track from a 1973 concert was released on [r2531671] (Memphis Archives MA7009) in 1994.
