UK bass player (with Toyah for about a year round the late 1970s, possibly into the 1980s). Moved into producer & engineering roles, particularly with the outfit Lost Boys and for Sean Maguire, securing a contract with MCA Records. In 1997 got a call to participate in engineering work on R.E.M. albums. Moved to Cardiff from London in 2003 where he established undefined.

As an engineer and record producer; he worked with REM, Steve Winwood, Will Oldham, Future of The Left, Sweet Baboo, Robyn Hitchcock and The Manic Street Preachers. Charlie is also a musician and songwriter.
