    English singer, recording artist and performer during the British Dance Band era in the 1930s and 40s. Born 22 November 1912 in West Hartlepool, England. Died June 24, 1944 (age of 31). His first recordings were made for Harry Leader in June 1935. His five-year singing career came to an end with his final recordings in 1940. Henderson was killed by flying bomb shrapnel while serving in the Southsea while in the Merchant Navy during WWII.
