Christian „Chris“ Steger (* 26. Dezember 2003 in Schwarzach im Pongau) Austria,

Chris lives with his parents in the market town of St. Martin am Tennengebirge and was a student at the HTBLA Hallein. In 2016 he took part in the Kiddy Contest, which he won with his interpretation of the song Stitches by Shawn Mendes. A year later he took part in The Voice Kids in Germany, but had to leave the competition after the second round.
Chris Steger's manager is Christof Straub, with whom he released Zefix in 2020. The song entered the charts and stayed for 19 weeks. It was named Austria's Song of the Year at the 2021 Amadeus Awards.
His first album "Zefix" was released on October 22, 2021. With Zefix he was so successful that he was rewarded with gold and platinum.
Chris has been under contract with Universal Music Austria since September 1st, 2022 and, together with his new team from the "Universal Music" family, wants to inspire audiences throughout the German-speaking world with his music, which combines contemporary pop with the traditional language of Austria.
Further single releases followed, but they did not achieve any further chart placements. It took more than a year to complete the debut album Zefix, named after the hit. In November 2021 it reached number 2 in the album charts. His second studio album Koa Garantie was released in October 2023, which reached number one in the Ö3 Austria Top 40 in the same month.
