Born September 5, 1932 Brooklyn, New York Died March 2, 1996 (63 years old) Las Vegas, Nevada. Birth name: Charles T. Ingolia. Chuck Stevens was his stage name. He was the brother of actress/singer Connie Stevens. His mother was a band singer and his father was jazz bass player Teddy Stevens.
He joined Sam Butera & The Wildest in 1987, playing at the Sheraton Desert Inn on the Strip. Ingolia's early training was rooted in jazz, working with performers such as Stan Getz, Mary Lou Williams and Marion McPartland. He worked for seven years as a studio performer for Warner Bros. in recording and television.
