Circle X were a Noise Rock band formed in Louisville, Kentucky in 1978. They were initially conceived from the ashes of two local punk bands by Tony Pinotti (vocals), Bruce Witsiepe (guitar), Rik Letendre (guitar) and Dave Letendre (drums). The first two members coming from No Fun, and the latter two coming from I-Holes. The group moved to New York soon after.
They disbanded in 1995, shortly after the death of guitarist Bruce Witsiepe.
