Rock group from Amsterdam, founded in 1983. Frontman is the charismatic Peter Te Bos, who also is a successful graphic designer. The band especially built up a solid live reputation. They played on many festivals, like Pinkpop, Parkpop and Roskilde.

In their early years the band has a raw garagerock style, for instance on their self-released debut album Shocking Shades Of Claw Boys Claw, which was recorded in just a few hours. Later albums contain a more melodic rock sound. In 1992 the band scores a minor hit in the Dutch Top 40 with the single Rosie.
After the album Will-O-The-Wisp (1997) it became rather silent around Claw Boys Claw, but a new studio album is announced for 2007.
