Clean Break

Clean Break was a Portuguese straight edge hardcore band from Faro, it started in the Summer of 2013 when David Rosado, former member of Pointing Finger, Broken Distance, etc. and Armando former drummer in [url=https://www.discogs.com/artist/1512356]Pressure[/url] decided to start a new project and started recording some new songs as the Faro straight edge scene hat started to dwindle down and they wanted to bring it back, David wrote most the music and lyrics and recorded the guitars, bass and vocals while Armando did the drums, those recordings where released in August 2013 on the band bandcamp page and also on cassette, after a good reception of their music they decided to start performing live and recruited Diogo Narciso, former vocalist in Pointing Finger and João former bassist on Pointing Finger as their guitarists and Valter on bass, also from Broken Distance, the band started performing live throughout the country. In 2014 the group released "Face Value" a six track 7" as well a reissue of their demo as a 7", both co-issued by Salada Days Records and Straight & Alert Records, followed by a tour through several European countries, In the spring of 2015 João is replaced by Daniel Novais and then Armando Leaves the group in the summer, at that time former drummer for Poiting Finger, Rafael Madeira, who had immigrated to Brazil returned to the country for a tour with his new band disXease did some of the drums on material that David had been working on, in 2016 those recordings were released on a self-titled 7".
