CODA's performing history since their formation in 1994, is extensive. They are no strangers to the festival circuit, having played at the Woodford, Big Day Out, Belingen Global Carnival, Blue Mountains Folk Festival, Peats Ridge, Sydney Festival, Queenscliff, Glenworth Valley Festivals, Newtown Festival, the Sydney Opera House Studio Space and recently in Easter 2005, at the Sydney Cockatoo Island Festival. CODA incorporate theatrical elements for some of their live shows. At the 2004 Woodford Folk Festival, CODA were accompanied by their CODApendant Showgirls and their animal friends on-stage. The four shows at Woodford drew massive audiences as CODA played renditions from their ARIA award nominated album, 'There is a Way to Fly'.
September 2004 CODA released EP 'For Our Animal Friends', December 2004, CODA were the live band for the IF Film Awards Ceremony held at Luna Park, Sydney, shown across Australia on SBS. CODA have performed at Australian Fashion Week events for Wayne Cooper (2002, 2004), and Justine Taylor shows (2002, 2003, 2004) and the David Jones Winter 2005 collection.
CODA wrote and recorded the theme music for the cable network show 'Tuesday night with Nell Schofield', and CODA strings have appeared on recordings for Toni Collette, Gomez, Kid Confucius, The Sleepy Jackson, Lior, Gelbison and Vassy.

CODA's members have all had extensive and rigorous music training including studies at the Sydney Conservatorium, The University of Sydney and the Newtown Performing Arts High School.
