Consoul Trainin

Giannis "John" Efthimiou is an Indie, Dance, Nu Disco, Deep House & House DJ & producer from Agrinio, Greece, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He defines his stage name as "the feeling when the music and the console become one with the soul".

He started his first radio show in a local radio station, at the summer of 1996, broadcasting house and dance music, probably the first radio show of that kind in Agrinio. At the same time he started having piano lessons and two years latter he kept on learning on his own.

He moved to Ioannina in 2000, to study physics. Trying to put together his studies and his love for music, he started working as a guest dj in local clubs and afterwards as a resident dj at Island Bar and Au Bar. He has also worked at "Top 97.2" radio station, as a music supervisor and spot producer.

In 2006 his radio show became a mix show, with presentation of new releases and interviews of up-and-coming or already famous producers and Djs from Greece and not only.

One year later, at the summer of 2007, Planetworks Records released his remix of Sam Brown's “Stop”, with vocals by Ioanna Kolovaki (aka Joan Kolova). The track was included in the compilation album “Lak Sound & Show 3”.

He currently resides in Dubai and is a DJ at Cielo Dubai.
