Death metal band from Nokia, Finland, founded in 1990. Featuring vocalist/guitarist Rami Jämsä, guitarists Jani Kuhanen (1989-1991) Toni Honkala (1992-1994), bassist Juha Telenius and drummer Janne Miikkulainen, Finland's short-lived death metal band Convulse only issued two albums (1991 "World Without God" and 1994's "Reflections") during their brief career, neither of which brought them much recognition at the time. But hindsight is always 20/20, and they have been retrospectively credited as one of their country's first extreme metal groups of note. Convulse became active again in 2012 and have since released two albums: "Evil Prevails" in 2013 and "Cycle of Revenge" in 2016.
