Cor Solis

About

Cor Solis started in late 2004 as an internet-based musical collaboration between Gregor (Goran Brkić) and Orion (Milan Putnik). They made some songs together and worked on the project for about a year, but due to professional obligations Milan couldn't devote his time to the project.

Cor Solis was put on hold until Ana Herman joined, with some of her lyrics and her voice. Shortly after, the band started composing more, played a MuzikFantastique 2005 Autumn Equinox gig in the middle of a forest, accompanied by [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Zagrob?anv=Dra%C5%BEen+Kulji%C5%A1&filter_anv=1]Dražen of Zagrob on accordion. The performance was well received, giving the band the motivation to move forward, as well as giving the audience the first opportunity to see Cor Solis live.

In 2006, Cor Solis performed in Ivanić Grad together with Zagrob and [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Smrt+I+%C4%8Ceki%C4%87]Smrt & Čekić, and received some more attention from radio promoters and magazines, both Croatian and foreign. They gave a radio interview for the Urban Music radio show, and then withdrawn from publicity a bit to create in silence. In May 2006 Nora (Eleonora Bruk) joined, an academic viola player of amazing talent, and with her Cor Solis performed a farewell concert in Sisak the same year.
