The Sant Jordi Choir is a Spanish choir formed in 1947 in Barcelona by a group of friends at the initiative of Oriol Martorell, who from the beginning assumed his direction and led, not only a personal way of understanding and interpreting music, but also a certain social projection of the musical fact, linked and committed to the historical moment of Catalonia.

Since 1960 there is a close collaboration with Orquestra Ciutat De Barcelona orchestra (nowadays renamed Orquestra Simfònica De Barcelona I Nacional De Catalunya).
