The fresh faced Londoner Jonny Royall is on the scene, bringing with him, his own distinctive brand of retro meets future trance. In under a year Royall has already unleashed two exceedingly strong EPs with emphasis on melody and unworldly auras. ‘Shaman EP’ was released back in April 2018 on Israeli favourite Zion604, with the rampant stomper ‘Shaman’ and the wildly expressive ‘GW’. This set the Coredata tone of having a powerful yet flowing 303 bassline as the core of his compositions. A few months later saw Coredata’s introduction into the wonderful world of JOOF. The welcoming arms opened up a strikingly contrasting side to the heart racing Israeli release, with Royall laying down stunningly beautiful and ethereal soundscapes in ‘iO EP’. Intentions have been firmly set by Royall to mark the beginning of an inescapably exciting future for Coredata.
