D. Mervyn Games

D. MERVYN GAMES was born in 1950 in India and educated in Britain. He was appointed Assistant Organist at the Parish Church, Berwick-upon- Tweed at the age of 12. Mr. Games studied at the University of Glasgow, the Royal Scottish Academy of Music, the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Italy and the Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Rome. He was Organist and Choirmaster at two large Glasgow churches and at Dunfermline Abbey.
In 1975, Mr. Games emigrated to Canada to be Organist and Assistant Music Master at Ridley College, St. Catharines. He was appointed Assistant Organist at St. James' Cathedral, Toronto, in 1977. Since 1979, Mr. Games has been Organist and Master of the Choristers at St. Paul’s Cathedral, London, Ontario. He became a Canadian citizen in 1982.
