    U.S. audio engineer, producer, multi-instrumentalist (bass, keyboards, pedal steel guitar, etc.) — operates Lone Palm Studio.

    Born January 2nd 1978, in San Francisco, California, USA Dan’s family soon moved to Palo Alto where he grew obsessed with bands like Primus, Metallica, Public Enemy, Johnny Cash, and Bob Marley. After attending Reed College in Portland, Oregon, Dan moved to Los Angeles in 2003 and began playing bass with On The Speakers. That led to a touring gig playing bass with Ben Kweller in 2006. In 2008 he started playing pedal steel with Beachwood Sparks. Starting in 2010, he became a key part of Jonathan Wilson’s recording and touring band. In 2015 he formed The Skiffle Players with Cass McCombs and Neal Casal which led to joining Cass’ solo band touring and recording. Dan is a founding member of Circles Around The Sun and Grateful Dead tribute band 'Grateful Shred'.
